Subject: question about American Legion and VFW

I am hoping you all can answer a question for me. As the widow of a Vet, am I eligible to join either the American Legion, and or VFW? Just something I am considering, once I get some things settled.

Please accept my condolances on your loss.
Based on your husbands service dates, and eligibilty for the FBM Deterrent Patrol Pin, you should be eligible for membership in both VFW Auxillary & American Legion Auxillary.
