At random: The first boat known to have been navigated under water was built in 1620 by a Dutchman, Cornelius Van Drebbel. Van Drebbel is said to have developed a chemical which would purify the air and allow the crew to stay submerged for extended periods.

Well today reached 25 Years married to the same girl, not sure yet but I might keep her around and see if something lasting comes of the relationship.

Alison Lee O'Donohue (nee Burnell) mother of 2 and a bit Older than 20, obviously short sighted and extremely tolerant but I like her anyway.

I'm sure she'll love the photo I chose.

POD, first of all congratulations to her for putting up with your sorry arse for 25 years and second, if she knew what picture you posted, she would definitly cut your coaxial cable where it hurts the most.
Folks/All Hands, believe me, Alison is a very beautiful woman and POD has much better pictures of her than that.

A very notable event! and worthy of emulation. Congratulations, POD! It's the mark of a man in his commitment to his wife.

Congratulations!! A milestone, indeed. Whaddya mean, "Now where"? You changing direction?

I made it to 35 years with my first husband, and 7 with the second. Can I add those up to claim 42? Nah - the 7 were a disaster, so scratch them.Guess I'll never have a 50th Anniversary. Dang!

Pete & Alison:
Congrats on 25 years of wedded bliss.

I just let Jan and Janice Feingold know of your 25 years. Crystal came home on Sunday and they are leaving in the morning for their vacation. Jan said to send you his felicitations.

OK married 25 years ain't easy. However I have to ask the question, being a submariner, actually how much of those 25 years have you actually spent together? I remember when Howard was making patrols, and that at least half of our first year married he wasn't around, cause he was out with the boat.

Pod,
Congrates. on 25 wonderfull years. It must have been wonderfull or she would have thrown that Ausie ass out. We were married for 47 years, and shooting for 50. But that dreaded C word took my lovely wife from me last year. John396

Peter, Congratulations...Solveig and I made it to our 40th Anniversary before she got orders from Saint Peter's assignment officer. Take a moment....You've beaten the odds that predict that most marriages don't make it past fewers years than you and your lovely wife have put behind you. That's an accomplishment...You deserve to be proud of yourselves. Now, after seeing her photo...I want you to ask her to OJ you and wait for my plane ticket in the mail....Either that or have her take you out to the Great Barrier Reef...spray you with walrus blood and toss you over the side...or get you bitten by a rabid kangaroo. Tell her to bring her recipe book, clothes iron and two cotton nighties. Seriously CONGRATULATIONS you both have reason to be proud. DEX

I'm 78 years old. If I got married tomorrow , I would have to live to be 128 years old to celebrate a 5oth wedding anniversary.

That's so funny.
