WHITE, Robert (Bob) William, 72, passed away at his home in Corona, CA June 28, 2008. He was born September 5, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA and has lived in Corona since 1980. Mr. White went into the Merchant Marines at the age of 14 and the Navy at the age of 17, where he served as Chief Electrician in the submarine service. He started Janda Company, Inc., which manufactures resistance welding equipment, in 1960. He dedicated almost 50 years of his life to Janda Company, also located in Corona, and was a leading authority in the art of resistance welding. He recently received a lifetime achievement award from the RWMA and from Lockheed Martin for his dedication, achievements and significant contributions to programs of great national importance. Bob and his wife, Janet, recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 12, 2008. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Bob is survived by his wife, Janet White; daughters, Sheryl Dreiling, Corona, Rhonda Burton, Riverside; son, Bob White, Jr., Corona; sister, Anne Seagraves, Idaho; brother, George Carlson, Oregon; seven granddaughters, one grandson and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2008, 11am at Thomas Miller Mortuary. Burial/interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
