It's a scam alright... I used to go to Penguins games when they would play at the old Capital Center then the Phone Booth (aka Verizon Center).. but the tickets have gotten so outrageous as have some fans too. I'd wear my Lemieux jersey, supporting a team I've loved for 40 years.. but to have my life threatened by drunken bums, dealing with the crowds and smelly restrooms and overpriced food..no more.

My wife even suggested I drive to Philly to see the boys play the Flyers in the playoffs..in view of the fact that tickets are outrageous, I didn't fancy ending up wearing cement shoes in the Delaware River.

And Don.. youse guys is thieves..the Wings just signed Hossa... :P

If you think the Pittsburgh fans are bad you haven't seen Philly hockey fans. I'd place a bet they are the worst in the country for bad behaviour. The medie here chalk it up to home town fans rooting for their teams. I guess that's why they have a judge on duty during football games. Basball is till pretty civilized. that probably has to do with the pace of the game.
