KITCHNER, Steven Wayne "Toby," 56, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Rose Villa in Topeka, KA. He had been a resident of Rose Villa for about 20 years. He was born February 19, 1952 in Wichita, the son of Donald P. and Kathleen A. Thies Kirchner. He was raised in Wichita, and served in the US Navy Submarine Fleet during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his mother, Kathleen A. Kirchner of Wichita; a brother, Kenneth Kirchner of Wichita; three sisters, Kristine Kirchner of Denver, Karen (Richard) Storie of Manassas, VA, and Donna Collins of Wichita. Cremation is planned. No public memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Villa, 2075 SW Fillmore, Topeka 66604.
