Moderation in the chow line????? Truely you are joking . The only way I can moderate the chow line is if my wife kicks off. She's the best cook ever. If she passes before me I reckon I'll dry up and wether away.
Back in '04 Blue came and stayed with us a few days. He chowed down on her cookin and hasn't recovered since. He went up to John Bay's and about ate him out of house and home and continues on to this day wherever he goes. The young lad is growing a belly that will match ours before long. |

heck, I'll join in ... Dec 24, 2004; it was a Christmas present to my self and my honey. After 42 years of 'smoke 'em if you got 'em!' One of my pet theories is that quitting is a lot easier if one isn't working. Both my wife and I didn't seem to be able to kick the habit until out of the stress arena of the semiconductor industry.

October 94. So Coming up on 14 years. Gotta admit to an occasional cigar on the golf course or with a really good single-malt on the deck at night watching the stars and satellites passing my house...

1986, after 28 years of smoking and I still miss it! Sea stores were 1.10 a carton in the 60's, and ten cents of that was for the rec committee. Now if I could only do something about this dark rum thing......
