Why, you got one for sale? Got to fire a Thompson Navy overstamp the other day. Sure is a fun gun, but kind of expensive to feed. Only problem it had was fixed by a good cleaning. The owner took  it home the same day. I would imagine it is worth about $19,000. A thousand dollar gun with eighteen thousand worth of paperwork. Oh why didn't I buy it when I had a chance in the early eighties. The paper back then only cost $200. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Gee Walt, I think you need some practice on that. What say we get a hog and see how well that thing fires? Might need some liquid beverages to keep it cooled to the right temp.

"Ken that was the one. Thanks."

You're more than welcome Mac.
In case you're wondering, I watched all the episodes of Johnny Carson as Karnak the Great, and learned to read minds.
Scarey, huh?

If I ever build another one, it will be a BOOMER. Complete with fairwater guards so anyone in the know will know which one it is. I am still in love with my Smokin-Tex. Easy and makes perfect BBQ.
