John,
A real American hero, good for him, and best wishes. My grandson just returned from his 2nd. trip to that hell hole, arm pit of the world. He is an MP and a hummer driver. He was pissed when they wouldn't let him bring home a piece of shrapnel he pulled from his rig. John396

John, You have a right to be proud. Here's a lad hauling your DNA meeting his civic reponsibilty and manly obligation as a volunteer dues-payer. Yessir. We all should be proud of him and the parents that instilled that level of patriotic commitment in him...Fine family...You and dear Millie should be bursting your buttons with pride and admiration. John, is that the same "GO FOR BROKE" 442 that was the most decorated regiment in WWII and was composed of primarily Nesi (Japaneese-Americans)? The 442 Combat Infantry Regt and the 100th Battalion left us a record of courage in action, sustained superior performance and combat efficiency seldom equalled by fighting men. Senator Inoye, Sen. HA...was a highly decorated veteran of that unit. You're right, that photo triggers, good thoughts. THANKS DEX

Yep, the 442nd are the "Go For Broke" boys and to answer your question, Joshua has Caucasian, Mexican, Chinese, Hawaiian AND Japanese blood in him (he was born, and still lives in, Hawaii).  He is just getting his teaching degree from the University of Hawaii.  Josh is a TRUE "Heinz 57 American"...
