It was 28 years ago today, Aug. 17, 1980 that George Brett reached .401 by going four for four with five RBIs in an 8-3 win over Toronto at then- Royals Stadium.

Yeah, I know not sub related nor even Navy or military, USSVI election, new uniform cover and color, great sub books or a recipe.

Just needed to jump in and play in our wonderful sandbox.

Gary was that the same year an umpire, on Billy Martin's complaint took away a home run from him???? And Brett charged the umpire like a mad rhino....That was a memorable incident.

He did get it back though after a review by those higher up in the baseball food chain.
