A bad man breaks into a little old lady's house.

"Put your hands up, Mr. Bad Man, sir, while I try to remember where I last put that pistol. I know it's here somewhere."

He's startled by this, but obliges.

"Now, where did I put those bullets? Dad gum it all! Can't find them. Isn't that just like me? Keep your hands up, now, Mr. Bad Man, while I call 911."

Did he? Keep his hands up? Did she? Find the bullets? Only the Shadow knows.

There's no emoticon on here that looks like g-r-r-r-

Just about enough silliness for one evening.

Corabelle, have you been 'tippling' again?
(Not that yours truly has ANYTHING against 'tippling', heh heh.)

What's a cocadile? I haven't seen anything anywhere near 27 feet long anywhere near my bed for lots of years.

I think DEX was really meaing a CACAdile......and we all know what Caca means in Spanish....which is consistent with the truckloads of stuff that Dex deposits on the various BBSs. While I know Dex is a choirboy, I also know that he has a tendency to well, shall we say, to bend the facts occasionally....mind you....only very rarely....to make a point.....
We certainly all know and accept that submariners pronouncements are not worthy of disagreements......

so whatever Dex says......that is fact!

Dave, have you been hanging out with Beeghly again? What's with this Dex being a choirboy and "whatever Dex says...that a fact". Are you daft? Beeghly must have slipped you something. Hopefully, it was a mickey finn or some out of date juice that Doc Gardner left you.
Ain't no way on God's green Earth could Dex be a choirboy. He couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. Now for a real genuine choirboy you look at Blue. Now that youngster actually sang in a choir.
