Rapid City's Canyon Lake All Stars came home as winners, even though they were eliminated after they lost all three of their games. The last one they played against was Hawaii. There was a big parade through town yesterday, with each boy in a separate convertible or back of a pick up truck. I wasn't there - can't go to parades anymore, but our boys came home as champs. It's the first time in 59 (or was it 69) years that a South Dakota team made it to the Little League World Series.  Cora | ||
