...I've spent lots of time at this place.
My advice is get there early, (parking is hell) and take your checkbook. Plan to spend a minimum of three hours the first time you go. Plan on being entertained and bring your sense of humor. Don't expect shopping carts and wagons to tote your stuff. Expect to pass others in the aisles belly to belly and scooting down the aisles sideways.
Best on a rainy Saturday morning after you've had your coffee and no other plans.
Take the wife, she'll love it to. There is a whole section of "household" items in rear a well as furniture.
Don't expect it is like going to Home Depot or any other hardware boutique. This is the real deal.
When I was doing boat repair this is the place I could get wood augers with 3 foot shafts. Boat nails. 3/4" carriage bolts 3 feet long hot dipped galvanized. Tons of other stuff you can't find anywhere else.
