At random: Dollar for dollar and man for man, the submarine is the country's most economical weapon. Comprising only 1.6 percent of the Navy's World War II personnel, the submarine service accounted for 55 percent of all enemy shipping destroyed.

Rather difficult task as the only photo I see appears to be a Polar Bear ~ 'Crystal?'

Now that the picture shows up, from the left; McLaughlin, Gentry & Clear... don't ID the other two.

This was taken when Gary and Sue came up to look around for retirement property wasn't it. I had to work that day.

Nice pic John.

Speaking of Donny Hager, anyone heard from the Senior Chief? Last I heard he was doing civilian work in Guam.

For those of you who don't already know Danny Hagar MMCS(SS) USN Ret. (recently) - shortly after this picture was taken, the submarine that Danny was standing diving officer of the watch on at the time (the San Francisco), hit an uncharted, underwater mountain and damn near was lost and did in fact cause the death one of Danny's friends and shipmates.  His fast actions as diving officer were credited with most assuredly saving the sub.  I first met Danny face to face when he took Gary (Cowboy) McLaughlin, myself and our wives on a tour of the Henry M. Jackson (pre 9/11) shortly after he made Chief and was a ShipSup at Bangor.  First met him on-line when he was still a wise-ass 1st class that was just making Chief and decided to run his Charge Book up... LOL

I have to give partial Credit to Paul. I had no idea about Danny Hagar, but he filled in the one I was missing.
Thanks John, I appreciate it!

That's nice of you John, but not necessary.

BlackBeard named ALL of them, so he wins in my opinion.

I'm happy with getting "an assist" on this project.
