That is sure what it looks like. The storm washed out soil from the stbd side of the Stewart. The is not suppose to be a hole full of water there. It could just be the angle too. Have to wait and see.

The way that the Stewart is leaning it looks as if she tried to go to sea once more before the tides left her high and dry with a list to the starboard side now. That was one hell of a storm for them to loose a few buildings and to turn the Tautog sail on it's side (or at least leaning on her fairwater plane or what it looks like in the pics) it would have been one hell of a ride onboard the Cavalla though. I hope that they can make a speedy return to being opened once more, good luck Master Chief and crew there in Galvaston.
