One of my boats - Vallejo 658 - was built at Mare Island. My other boat - Key 657 - was built at EB Groton. It was difficult to see any difference except the interior colors of paint and the ships patch om the mess deck.
But here is a photo claiming to be the last Mare Island boat - USS Drum
