LENTZ, Warren A., 83, of Tempe, AZ, passed away on September 17, 2008. He was born in Renville, MN and moved to Tempe in 1977. Warren was a retired U.S. Navy submarine veteran, a member of the SUB-VETS of WW II, ELKS, VFW and American Legion. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for The Panama Canal Company and retired from there in 1977. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Evelyn; his daughers, LaDonna and Laura; and his grandchildren Theresa, Kimie and Joey. Graveside Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ

MARTINSON, Ingvald "Inky" "Marty", 80, of Riegelsville, Pa., died Friday, September 19, 2008 in Doylestown Hospital. Born: May 17, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, NJ, he was a son of the late Ingvald and Valborg Olsen Martinson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Doris Hager. Marty worked 45 years in Navy test for Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg, retiring in 1993. He was proud to serve his country. He served in both the Navy and Merchant Marine during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He served on the USS Hornet, USS Sunderland, USS Black Island, and also in the submarine service in the Pacific Theatre. He loved animals, especially Whooper and Tripod. Memberships: He was a life member of the Riegelsville Fire Company and Emergency Squad. Survivors: In addition to his wife; five children, Christie Winkky of Hector, NY, Cindie Bonsall of Pennsburg, Pa., Cibbie Lattig of Easton, Ingvald III of Asbury, NJ and Corie of Raubsville; eight grandchildren, Robert, Kiira, Melissa, Nichole, Chelsea, Eugine, Trinity and Collin; and a great-granddaughter Jenna. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig, who died in 1980. Services: No services are scheduled. Arrangements are being handled by the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville, Pa. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to the Riegelsville Fire Company, Riegelsville, PA 18077 or to the SPCA, Tumble Creek Road, Easton, PA 18042.
