So around noon they announced that from now on all new recruits would get two tankards of rum.In the back ranks, Dex said, "We didn't have it that good in the Old Corps" Didn't Dex ramble on ,once upon atime,about a bar wench named Thelma at Tun Tavern?(or was that Bell's on East Main?) | Subject: RE: If DEX was a Marine back in the day.... Bob, way back when, we had the old saying,"can't get to me! I'll kill you first!" It was pretty much the plan of the day to ping on one another to see just who you could get to. As I said it don't take much to entertain a sailor. Charleston Base USSVI had it's monthly meeting last night(every 2nd Thursday) and it's always neat to see and hear the pinging fun.
