MARSHALL, William Wayne, Born 11 August 1937 at St. Luke's Hospital, Seattle and raised on Queen Anne, graduating with the class of 1956. He attended Seattle Pacific College for two years and later served as a Fellow. Bill served his country aboard the submarine USS Tang, in 1962 he was honorably discharged. 27 December 1958 he married his high school sweetheart Judith C. Dailey. Bill was a member, elder, teacher, speaker, and with his wife, a marriage mentor at Bethany Presbyterian Church, Queen Anne. He furthered served Jesus Christ by being active in and supporting Young Life, Kairos, and being the first regional Executive Director for Pinnacle Forum Seattle. Bill earned the Boy Scout's highest rank of Eagle at 17 years of age, and continued as Scout Master and many other leadership roles to encourage Scouting and Scouts. Bill's son and 2 grandsons have continued this proud tradition each earning their Eagle, the youngest grandson is currently working toward his. He achieved success in sales and business ventures in office interiors and furniture. He was associated with Bank & Office Interiors, Seattle, co-owner of Business Office Furniture, Bellevue and retiring in 1999 from Business Interiors Northwest, Seattle. That same year he and his wife joined Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church. Bill brought riotous laughter in the drama ministry of his church and as a supernumerary at Pacific Northwest Ballet. Above and beyond all of these facts Bill loved, prayed and cared for many hundreds of dear people, from young children, who called him their friend, to adults at all stages of their life and faith. Now and forever he is with all the saints in the presence of God. He is survived by his wife Judith, daughter, Pamela and son-in-law Steve Guyer, Bellingham , WA, son, Greg and daughter-in-law Mary Marshall, Canby, OR, grandchildren Cody & Kelsey Guyer, Brian, Scott and Claire Marshall, brothers, Howard, Mill Creek, WA, Richard, Redmond, Ronald, Queen Anne. Preceding Bill into the presence of God were his infant daughter Jill Marie, 1971 and his parents Howard and Hazel Marshall.
