At random: When the nuclear powered submarine USS SEADRAGON surfaced at the North Pole while charting the Northwest passage in August 1960, the crew organized a baseball game. Because of Polar time differences, when a batter clouted a home run it would land in either the next day or in 'yesterday'.

The thing is, Billy Bob, that when a guy is retired there's less sand in the top of the 'days of our lives' hour-glass than what has already run through. In other words, the passage of time is seemingly accelerating and we need answers to life's questions RIGHT NOW!

Billy Bob, You know you are REALLY retired when you look at your scheduling calendar and see that you have nothing scheduled from today to your appointment to be rolled across the loading dock at the funeral home...that indicates that you are REALLY retired. DEX

Wait a minute, DEX.

I've got an appointment scheduled with my Urologist.

I've got to go see my Neurologist.

Ditto my Gerontologist.

I need to see my Pharmacist to get my prescriptions filled.

My Eye Doctor says I need new bifocals so the Optometrist is on my calendar.

I've got a rich, full life loaded with appointments!
