PARADIS, Stanley, 78, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2008. He was born on September 21, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY. He entered the military at the age of 17 and proceeded to log 20 years of distinguished service in the Submarine Force achieving the level of Chief Petty Officer. Following his service to country, he owned and operated 3 Adams TV Repair located in Kensington, remaining in the electronics field until the mid-1980s. Stan was a Loyal Knight of the Elk's Lodge #1812 in El Cajon, a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans San Diego Base, and a member of VFW post #1512. He was preceded in death by his first wife, MaryAnn Amaral. He is survived by his beloved second wife, Jeanne Moore-Paradis, his sister, Felicia Lindsey, his children, Zell (Dwelley), Kim Parker Moore, William and Robert Glenn, their spouses, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Elk's Lodge #1812, in El Cajon on November 15, 2008, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Elk's Lodge #1812, 1400 East Washington Street, El Cajon, CA 92019-2534. He will truly be missed by all who knew, admired, and loved him.
