My beautiful, forty-something neighbor came back and worked on the driveway some more. When I looked out, there were TWO men helping her. She really is pretty; looks like a movie star.

Since this board is mostly men, do you 'spose a seventy-eight-year-old, decrepit old lady would have attracted that much help?

Unfortunately, my neighbor will have spent her last winter here...or at least as my neighbor. Her new husband is deployed to Korea now, and when he returns next summer, they will sell the house, then both will be deployed to Germany.

Ohhh, but of course. I'm sure if Dex and few others of us lived closer we would be there in a flash. I'm a sucker for homemade chocolate chip cookies.

A while back there was a popular song out titled "Older women make beautiful lovers". I guess the flip side to that would be "old men are a washed up bunch".
