I used to be able to say "I like IKE" but now I feel a little different.
Here are a couple pix of what IKE did to mem and there are a lot of people worse off than I am.
Also I got a couple of Thanks to convey, To Roy and June Ator, I'll have a month of cool ones on you!, Also for the cups and book Dex sent. I am truely grateful.

Happy to see you back on the board. I must say that from the reports I heard about your house I expected worse damage. Not that this isn't terrible. Sad to see your nice back yard in such ruins. I had expected to see the the walls on your lower floor gone and the garage flattened. So, though the damage is huge at least your house is standing unlike many in Galveston. I hope that the time to put your place back in order goes well.
Take care shipmate.

I bet the term "field day" has a bad sound to it now. Material things can be replaced. It is good you had the idea to leave before the storm hit. |
