There are now over 900 boat awards posted on the Wall of Honor. Most are missing the citation that was issued with an award. If anyone has a copy of a boat's citation for an award, if you can send it to me in an E-mail, in a format that I can "copy" and "paste", I'll post it on the website. |

Flapper, go to the USSVI pages, the second bunch of four red buttons are all info Gil has put in except for the sub memorial map that Pat and I did. Tim has it linked now so that when you go to any memorial that has any tie to a boat, that the awards also come up on those pages. Also The boat's log will show up. Each of these four buttons are linked back and forth to each other. The Wall of honor is the one just for medals, both for the ship and also for the individuals that served on the ship. But these same medals and people can be brought up on other pages when a boat is looked at that received those medals. These pages represent hundreds and hundreds of hours that Gil has put into them to make it so we can see how much some of our boats and the brothers who served on them contributed to our service. This really represents what our creed is all about. He deserves a lot of thanks for all that he does for us and USSVI on a daily basis.

Thanks Ric, can you retype the Citation into an E-mail and send it to me? I can not "copy" and "paste" from a scanned image. My E-mail address is "gil@ssbn601.com" |

Well dog-gone, here I thought Stoops was more of the overalls with the "barndoor" flap removed and brogans four sizes to large type of slut. I mean after all, he's from Houston, don't cha know. |
