Perhaps this should be in the obits column. Dex's computer isn't just merely dead, it's really quite severely dead. I talked to him this evening, and he send his love and kisses to all. For him to come back on line, all it take$ i$ lot$ of money! Don't worry, he's out collecting cans and bottles, taking them to the recycle center, and when he gets enough for another infernal computatin' machine, HE'LL BE BACK!

Tell him to go to Office Depot and get one of the Acer laptops for $349.99. 120 gig HD has XP and he can plug his monitor and keyboard and mouse into it.

Jon, the old pharte lives close enough to DC and must know enough people there to ask for a "bail out".

For $330 you can get this pretty sweet laptop, it's just missing a disc drive. I'm glad to see more affordable new laptops on the market these days.
