So since we have a trip planned to Pechanga during the 2009 convention, does anyone want to organize a Texas Hold-em tournament? Or perhaps just in a hospitality room some night?

There was a sign in a bar where my Dad and I used to occasionally go to shoot some 8 ball: 'LIQUOR IN THE FRONT AND POKER IN THE REAR'
Yes, the bar and tables were in front and there was a small poker parlor in the back.

I'll play poker (in our hospitality suite) "BUT" I would rather play "real" poker, like 7 card stud, 5 card draw etc. etc., not these televised sissy games!

I'm up for a Hold'em tournament in the Hospitality Room . Set it up & I'll be there. |

I'll also play 7-card Stud or 5-card Stud as well, they're my favorite game. |

I love hold-em, don't mind draw or stud, but absolutely hate it when people start picking silly games with all sorts of bizarre rules.

If anyone starts that crap just deal a round of five-card draw with all red cards wild. That usually stops the crud.

Hey, I'll deal the Texas Hold 'Em if forced "but" 5% of the pot stays with the house (what a deal - I can even pay for the open, wet bar, my cognac & cigars, Dan's Margaritas etc. etc.). Hehehe |

Speaking of too many wildcard games.
One night at a game I play in, after losing most of the night, I called fours, whores and 1 eyed jacks wild.
And dealt myself a pair of fours, a pair of queens and a one eyed jack.
I never will hear the end of that. |
