Doing some rearranging.............

If you have any of my subordinate pages bookmarked you will need to do the following.

For example:

To click direct access to THE ENGINE ROOM

The OLD LINK was http://www.sid-hill.com/ref/engine.htm IT WON'T WORK ANYMORE (it may
temporarily appear to if it is in your browser cache... but not for long)

NOW you will need to add the word TOP into the URL ... as so
http://www.sid-hill.com/top/ref/engine.htm

This applies to ALL LINKS on my website.

Or just come through the FRONT DOOR at http://www.sid-hill.com

------------------------------------

WHY THE CHANGE?

I was going to do some website rearranging anyway but then I had some reports that folks using
FIREFOX were getting MALWARE warnings.

FIREFOX (Mozilla) collaborates with GOOGLE and GOOGLE relies on another outfit to run checks
for "bad" websites that may backfeed s**t into your computer.

However... I think their programs may be overly sensitive and are giving false positives. For
instance I had some little java- script things on several of my pages that pulled in stuff from
external sites and displayed them. These included a nice weather report with graphics for my area,
another was a gas price thingy (plug in your zip code and it displayed all dealers in your area and
their pump prices). Another gadget I had on some other pages gave local time and some other crap.

The GOOGLE sleuth must have read these doodads as POSSIBLE THREATS.  (MS IEXPLORE did
NOT give an alarm... only the MOZILLA FIREFOX) I run MOZILLA SEAMONKEY browser and don't
get any alarms.

Soooo........ I ran many iterations of my VIRUS and MALWARE check programs on all 70 MB of my
stuff.  Everything was COOL. Then I deleted all those aforementioned gadgets. And re-ran all
checks on my pages again.

Nada.

So I deleted everything on the server and reloaded the entire website (post scans).

------------------------------

Well, that's about it.  My computer has no detectible sexually transmitted diseases.

And that be all I can do.

Nice work, interesting site; I marked it for exploration when I have some time.
