It was 50 years ago today that a plane crashed near Clear Lake, Iowa and killed 4 people.
Can you name all 4?

Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J.P. 'The Big Bopper' Richardson and the pilot, Roger Peterson.
I've seen Buddy Holly's larger-than-life statue in Lubbock, Texas.
I've been listening to his music all day.

Cora wins the prize!!!! Everyone forgets there was a pilot aboard. Roger Peterson!! His family misses him too.
I, too, have seen the statue in Lubbock. Stayed in a hotel right next to it in the middle of a sand storm.

Yeh, Buddy is THE MAN. The Big Bopper.
"Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue, Pretty Pretty Pretty, Peggy Sue"
His music has always inspired me too, Cora.
