CHURCH, Sr., Warren Lucain "Red", 82, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2009. Born June 30, 1926, Red was a life-long resident of Albuquerque. He served in the US Navy as a submariner during WWII from 1943-1945 [Tambor (SS-198), Bergall (SS-320)] and the Korean Conflict from January 1951 to May 1952. Warren was a former State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus. He retired in 1980 as the Director of the printing plant for the Defense Nuclear Agency on KAFB after 36 years of service. He had been a member of Holy Ghost Parish since 1954. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dolores A. Church; three children, eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Warren Church Jr. Rosary will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday, February 5, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona, SE. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Klaurens, Eric Klaurens, JT Church, Jason Church, Jimmy Church, George Gamble and Bruno Navalesi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Right to Life, Birth Right, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Holy Ghost School, or your favorite charity.

NAWROCKI, Victor J., 69, died February 1, 2009. He was a member of the United States Submarine Veterans Long Island Base. Served in the Navy on the USS Sea Robin (SS-407). Beloved husband to Nancy. Devoted father to Lynn (James), Victor (Kelly), Peter (Kathryn) and Sal Maggi. Loving grandfather of eight grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00am at St. Mark's R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. Friends may call at the Giove Funeral Home, 640 Middle Country Rd., Middle Island, N.Y. RAMSEY, Donald F., 77, of Sue Lane, died on Monday, February 2, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital. He was born in Albany, NY, on January 22, 1932, the son of the late Elmer and Dorcas Ramsey and was a graduate of the former Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief quartermaster, and served aboard the submarine USS Sea Fox (SS-402). He also retired as maintenance operator for the Towers of Colonie, retiring several years ago. Donald was the beloved husband of the late Joan E. Poulin Ramsey, whom he married on July 4, 1980; she died on Jan. 24, 2008. Survivors include his daughters and sons, Cheryl Bommarito of Mechanicville and Linda McBride of Tennessee, Mark (Lisa) Ragotskie of Ballston Spa and Scott Ragotskie of California; brother of Jane (Alfred) Smith of Coble- skill. Also survived by seven grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald's memory to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.

VICTOR "Rocky Nawrocki served aboard the USS Sea Robin from 1958-60 as SN(SS).  He will be missed by his many friends and Shipmates.
