Subject: Problem with BBS

Don, Whenever I make a post on this board, I cannot get the board to go back to the post I answered. It just jumps back to what I wrote. I have tried it on two different computers, on two different networks. I have to get completely out of the BBS, back to Windows Internet Explorer home page and start over again. Is any one else having this problem??

Works fine for me... so when you click the Submit button... it just goes back to the screen where you submitted from?

...seems to be working just fine for me... would know pic of Dex's ass anywhere....

Which "Reply" button do you use? the one in the upper Left or Right corner? Works fine for me.. I always use the one on the right. I only noticed the one on the left a few months ago.. Have never used that one....

Lee, What i do is click the "reply" in the right corner of the post you're reply to, type your reply, click "submit" and then scroll back up and click on "submarine discussion.
Do it like this------------

See it works everytime.

Okay Ric, now your scring with my mind... I never noticed the one on the right until you just pointed it out. I have always used the one on the left... with no problems (other than spelling).

I have the same problem. After I 'submit,' I have to scroll back to the top and click on 'submarine discussion' to get out of the thread. Even then, it sometimes wants to go back to my submission. Then I have to get completely out of Bottom Gun.

Seems kinda the hard way to do it.

That's what is happening to me too. I will try the way you are doing it Cora.... I have just been going up to the upper right and clicking on the red X, then starting all over.

No, you don't have to go that route (either one, LOL)! Once you hit 'Submit' on your reply, you'll see your post.
Now, simply hit the back button for your browser window (found way up in the upper left of the window and it will look like a left-facing arrow or arrow head (depending on what browser you're using. You'll have to hit it several times, depending on how many replies you made in a given thread.
You WILL eventually get back to the main listing for the forum.

...but then it won't go away. So, then, you can't see anything else.

So, now will try Flapper's suggestion. Hit submit, then back arrow.

Okay - - - -

Every time I hit back arrow, my post pops up again. To get out of the thread, I have to get out of the BBS.

You MUST hit the back arrow repeatedly - only once will take you back to the empty 'submit a reply' form; hit it again and you should be back to the thread the way it was when you were about to make a reply; hit the back arrow a THIRD time and you should be back to the regular forum with all the various threads - listed in the order of most recently active thread.
If you do a refresh (click on the little clockwise circular arrow near the forward and back arrows) you should see the the post you just made show up in the very first thread topic on the list.

Once you click "submit"and your message appears in the thread--scroll to the top of the thread and click "submarine discussion" that should put you back on track.
