I might of had the change, but it wasn't permenent, I agreed to the ensemble, but not the operation, I still reserved the right to switch back (or back and forth as the situation dictated)...

Since there are only 4 tubes, I would surmise that this is the after room. That is probably DEX hiding in the empty tube.
