No, it's not a movie, but a 'post-brief' from the Snake Ranch. As a 'chief petty officer of the line', I feel it is my duty to report all the facts, which should include the 'incidentals' which may have been left out of previous posts. Ladies and gentlemen, I see my duty and I do it...

THE GOOD

First of all, it truly was an incredible event. Arlington burials are always done absolutely to the letter and 'top drawer', and Warshot's was no exception. The honors given to him were in keeping with the highest traditions of that hallowed ground and all that attended could certainly sense that. Truly remarkable.

For purposes of the reception, I (early on) 'guesstimated' about 50 people - - - there were over 60 that attended. Fortunately, the accomodations and services worked out and everyone seemed to have a really good time. The Ft. Myer Officer's Club did an outstanding job and the food was excellent (I find out later that the head chef there, is also a chef at KATES, which explains why I like the food there so much!). Anyhoo, it was truly an honor for me to be a part of this really historic event. Not only did I get to hook up again with shipmates I haven't seen in a long while, but also met some wonderful folks for the first time. Dan Ashley, it was a real honor to meet you, sir. And Kevin, it was great to see you again after all this time (for those of you that don't know, CAPT Kevin Mooney was an active member of MY base way back when). And of course, 'Ms Lumpy Bumps'... Those of you who read her posts but have never met her, and think you know this woman... HA!! 'STAND BY' is all I got to say! This submariner's bride is not some 'soft-spoken wallflower' and definitely didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. She doesn't call a spade, a spade... she calls it a ......... well, never mind. You just gotta meet this woman! Suffice to say, she holds her own, even surrounded by bubbleheads.

THE BAD

After carting off the last of the reprobates to the airport this morning, I returned to the snake ranch and after taking a much needed nap, decided to take stock of my surroundings. After an intensive search and inspection, I fould the following missing:

- Two inflatible dolls, both of which I thought were well hidden before Ric & Blue showed up (one buried deep in a compost pile out behind my deck and the other behind a 'GAY PRIDE' poster in my garage).
- My Viagra
- A pair of handcuffs and a spiked dog collar given to me by Dex after a sonar girl convention.
- All of my ties.
- A TV remote. (update: later found it busted in a million pieces under Blue's bed)

In addition, I discovered my pet sheep, 'Dolly', laying on her back in Ric's room, feet in the air, tongue hanging out and 'X's where her eyes used to be, clearly violated and abanded. I was crushed.

THE UGLY

So, make no mistake... Some of us 'handsome bluejackets' have turned into some REALLY ugly bastards. You know who you are... I see one in the mirror every morning!

There you have it. Thank you all for making this event something we'll all remember for our lifetime!!

PS - Oh, by the way Blue, when I got back today, there was a note on the front door that read,

"BLUE... HONEY BABE,,, I LOVE YOU!!!"
"WHERE ARE YOU???"
"YOU DON'T WRITE"
"YOU DON'T PHONE"
"YOU DON'T SEND NO FLOWERS"

After a five hour flight to Las Vegas my connecting flight was delayed almost two hours and then a bit over 2 hour flight to Seattle. Shuttle ride, blah, blah, blah..... THEN... I had to deal with a PO'd cat having been left alone for a week, (ex was feeding her). She's sitting on my lap right now. The slot machines got $20.00 from me while I was waiting at the airport.

NOW to set the story straight...... Ol'Goats sheep had already been violated when I arrived and was seeking comfort from her abuser....

Blue must have taken both blow-ups 'cuse I don't have one.

...about the rest of the stuff...I'm innocent!!! Cross my heart....

Cora, my Dear, you don't know the "REAL" Olgoat/Ray Stone Every one talks about Olgoat's ties. Wellllll, there is one tie that slips past most folks and that is the tie to Dolly the sheep.
The "Snake Ranch" is a very strange place with activities that are unbelieveable. Read Ray's post again very carefully and wonder about what he doesn't tell you.

Actually Ray, she found out where I am staying and came on over.....finally, Kathy allowed her to come inside. It's quite crowded in the bed but I am doing my best to accommodate both of them...as a true submariner would. I bet Ralph is now wishing he had met her first
