Subject: Off to the front

At our base meeting yesterday, it was announced that one of our members an EMC (SS) who is in the active reserves is going to Afghanistan for a 10 month tour. It seems like he tried to get on a boat, but he was told he had been off them for too long a period of time. Looks like 5 years is the max. I kinda think he is too old to be running around, doing this, but he will be shipping out in 4 weeks.
