Subject: Baby, it's cold outside!

Started with a freezing rain this morning; turned to snow around noon. White-out conditions all day. But, that wind - the infernal wind. It woke me up this morning and has been rattling the house all day.

Gracie went home to Black Hawk with my daughter-in-law. The sliding glass door where I always let her out tends to freeze shut when we have this kind of weather, and I can't walk on the slippery driveway - patio - grass, so, bless her heart, Mary left work around 1:00 p.m. and stopped here to get the puppy dog. By that time, I-90 was closed, so she had to go out Sturgis Road to get home.

B-r-r-r-!

Somebody talked about men's hot bodies melting the ice on the driveway. i can think of better things to thaw than concrete.
