Maple Glazed Walnuts/Pecans/Almonds 1/2 cup Maple Syrup 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon 1 Tablespoon Butter 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1-1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract 2 Cups Shelled nuts In an iron skillet or saucepan stir together the syrup, cinnamon, butter and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture becomes brown and starts to thicken. Add vanilla, then nuts and toss until the nuts are evenly covered with the glaze Quickly spread and cool on waxed paper. ENJOY! | ||
