The two ugly ones don't get it it seems.

I know it is always over shadowed by the Thresher tragedy on the 10th but come on guys, 109 years of continuous service to our country and now we are the Capital Ships of the Navy. That is something to be proud of.

Matter of fact, you ugly slut, I mean OLD ugly slut, I am listening to the Kingston Trio tribute to the Thresher......and I am wearing the tee shirt with the Thresher on the back dedicated to all 52 boats that was given to me a number of years ago.

Ric,  to be very serious, the birthday of the boats would gladly step aside to honor the anniversary of a lost crew.  That's the case... nothing wrong with that.  So, "Happy Birthday Submarine Service" but lets not forget those who couldn't be here to blow out the candles.  God bless 'em all...

(ya done good Ric!!)

The Thresher was lost on the tenth. and I honored them on their day. This was the eleventh, the birthday of the Submarine Service that honors all.
