We are all aware of the bank/mortgage/small business/large business failures, Bernie Madoff etal. Very important stuff and quite relevant to us.

Butthe truly important news of the day was last night it was announcedthat John Madden is retiring form his announcing gig. He will no longerbe the voice of absolute best football announcer in the business today,yesterday and in the near future, bar none!

Chris Collinsworth is taking his place. A very good choice....

I'll never forget a line he used a few years ago during a game in an outdoor stadium where it was frigid, snowing and on real grass. The players were covered in mud and this one guy walks into the camera view bleeding through an ace bandaged arm. Madden says, that's what football is supposed to be mud, blood, and ice cold.
