The article says the DSS supervisors had pizza and sodas brought in during the lock-down.
If that was not to this guy's liking, I suspect he could have had what he wanted (within reason) brought in.

He was caught in a bad situation not caused by his employers. He should be glad he was not working at the building down the street where the shooting took place.

None of the rest of his co-workers have complained. He should suck it up like them.

I think this guy's union rep should have a short talk with him, after which the complaint gets dropped and no more is said about it.
