At random: There are more airplanes at the bottom of the ocean than there are submarines in the sky; therefore I chose submarines over aviation.

I talked to Dex this evening (and also to the lovely Miss Doris) to see if I could help with his PC situation. He has a friend who is in Naval Submarine League bringing him a refurbished unit tomorrow and if everything works out ok, he may be back to posting very soon. I did find out enough where I can definitely configure one of my spares and ship it to him, provide the local guru can get him connected....I suspect though that it won't be necessary....

Anyway, Dex is chomping at the bit to get reconnected to the Submarine community.

Dex just sent me this VHS copy of "Sub Down"... Before I waste too much time, has anyone else seen it?

Come on John, what else do have to waste your time on? Sit down with a bowl of popcorn and with a bunch of sub sailors and complain your way through it. Enjoy yourself.

Ric, you'll have to give John some allowances. I sent him the video of the Retired Guys Drill Team and he's about worn out learning and trying to keep up with the cadence. Please give him time and we'll see if he can keep up.

Wait a minute you two!  A broken down paint sniffer and diesel fume farter are going to tell me why I should retire - great examples!

I never said you should retire John. It would give the rest of us a bad name.

Jeeezzzz Ric!  Don't you EVER sleep?  How the hell can you ever finish that book if all you do is sit on these BBS's all day?  At least Ralphy has a real life (he thinks) - he confuses issues a lot so is always happy with himself! yuk yuk!
