Well, it's turning into a beautiful day up here in the "Land of Submarines".  Sun has decided to grace us (shhhh...better not say that too loud) and it promises to be a good day.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Ditto L.B. - heading down to San Francisco for a couple of days in a few minutes, might notice the relative quiet here while Ralphy isn't stirred up (I'll make up for that later - LOL)...

John going to San Fran....... kind of makes you wonder if he's going to hop batteries on the "Pamp" or he's getting a little limp in the wrists and lite of foot.
John, you've got to get up earlier in the morning to stir me up.
Have fun and remember not to get anything on you that won't wash off.

*Finally* a decent day here in NJ. With all the rain, I was beginning to rust. :-)

from Sub School.  Graduating class-Ohio-80 graduates...all with scores of 85 or better.  Not all going to boats, some to fleet...but all were exceptional in their own right.  Tour of schools was great as usual...one new addition...o.k. all you TM's out there have the right to correct me...Torpedo Training...688 and Virginia Class Torpedos...now that was interesting.  Short
instruction time, but very detailed...to a point...688 Trainer is still the best...doing all sorts of good "moves".

OK, now to Uncle Dave...we are doing tour of USS Texas tomorrow.  So, now I will get to see if I remember anything that the Chief told us today about Virginia Class Trainer.

Well, we are on a quick break before heading down to Clubhouse.

See ya on the flip side!

(Pix to follow later)

Hey Patti, If it's sunshine ya want, I should put some in a bottle and send it to ya. Here in Los Angeles that's all we've had for the last six days. ONBe week it's cold, (for us anyway), and the next it's hot. I'm thinking it's going to be a very hot summer for sure.

On second thought, Patty, don't come out here. Santa Barbara is on fire, and just an hour ago we had a 4.2 earthquake just 25 miles north of my house. (I'm 35 miles from Santa Barbara)

Welcome to the land of shake and bake, or more correctly, Bake and Shake.

Well, it's a bit on the overcast side this AM, but it's supposed to clear up...I think?  As previously stated, we are headed to
USS Texas today.

Uh, Jon and Steve...I know fire is a bit away from you both, but please stay safe...especially you Jon, with the new puppies.
I can go without sun for a bit...I don't think I'll rust, but I'm not sure about the "big guy"...he's been creaking a bit...and it
isn't old age!

Have a great day everyone!

(morning, Roy)
