At random: In a fraction of a second they are projected into eternity and will never possess a final resting home. They have graves without bodies, they are an exceptional breed of people....It is of utmost pride to me to have met these men, those lords that I salute, praise and admire. - Winston Churchill on Clearance Divers September 1944

MEMO

From: Wardroom

To: All Chief Petty Officers

Subject: Sensitivity Training.

It has been brought to the Executive Officer's attention that some Chief Petty
Officers throughout the command have been using foul language during the
course of normal conversation with their Division Officers.

Due to complaints received from some Division Officers who may be easily
offended, this type of language will no longer be tolerated. We do however,
realize the critical importance of being able to accurately express your
feelings when communicating with Officers.

Therefore, a list of "TRY SAYING" new phrases has been provided from the
wardroom so that proper exchange of ideas and information can
continue in an effective manner.

TRY SAYING: Perhaps I can work late.
INSTEAD OF: And when the flock do you expect me to do this?

TRY SAYING: I'm certain that isn't feasible.
INSTEAD OF: No flocking way.

TRY SAYING: Really?
INSTEAD OF: You've got to be s**tting me!

TRY SAYING: Perhaps you should check with...
INSTEAD OF: Tell someone who gives a s**t.

TRY SAYING: I wasn't involved in the project.
INSTEAD OF: It's not my flocking problem.

TRY SAYING: That's interesting.
INSTEAD OF: What the flock?

TRY SAYING: I'm not sure this can be implemented.
INSTEAD OF: This s**t won't work.

TRY SAYING: I'll try to schedule that.
INSTEAD OF: Why the hell didn't you tell me sooner?

TRY SAYING: He's not familiar with the issues.
INSTEAD OF: He's got his head up his ass.

TRY SAYING: Excuse me, sir?
INSTEAD OF: Eat s**t and die.

TRY SAYING: So you weren't happy with it?
INSTEAD OF: Kiss my ass.

TRY SAYING: I'm a bit overloaded at the moment.
INSTEAD OF: flock it, I'm going to the Chief's Club.

TRY SAYING: I don't think you understand.
INSTEAD OF: Shove it up your ass.

TRY SAYING: I love a challenge.
INSTEAD OF: This job sucks.

TRY SAYING: You want me to take care of that?
INSTEAD OF: Who the hell died and made you boss?

TRY SAYING: I see.
INSTEAD OF: Blow me.

TRY SAYING: He's somewhat insensitive.
INSTEAD OF: He's a flocking prick.

TRY SAYING: I think you could use more training.
INSTEAD OF: You don't know what the flock you're doing.

Thank You for your assistance in this matter, with a little work we can all
communicate with each other more effectively.

Sure am glad that they are trying toget those old worn out CPO to straighten up. I guess that means us old E-6 types can still tell the Cpos were to head in. No wonder John took off and went to San Fran

Do you mean it's safe to pile on John because he's away and not watching his computer? That sort of takes the fun out of Pinging an Electrical type.

Piling On????? Walt, bite your tongue. We would never dream of doing such a thing. Just think how happy he will be when he gets back to know that he was thought of while away. I bet he'll look like a possum ginning from ear to ear.

A possum Grinning is when you BBQ the whole thing, head and all, and put a cherry tomato in his teeth.

Last possum I saw that wasn't roadkill was showin' his teeth to my dog from the top rail of a 6-foot plank fence.

My poor old dog cain't jump that high anymore, so she was barkin' fit to wake the whole neighborhood.

Turned the garden hose on both of 'em, knocked the possum into the neighbor's yard.

One pissed-off wet rodent, but he didn't become Midnight's snack, and he ain't been back.

To Mad Dog, Ralphy, L.B. and all the rest of you taking advantage of my weekend liberty - you made my morning coming back reading all this "stuff" that I didn't even have to initiate!!! Don't forget that it was the Chiefs that saved your sorry asses at (I'm sure) more than one time (especially from the junior wardroom!)... LOL

Anyhow, long story re: this weekend (MANY pictures).  Here's one that didn't come out as nice as I would have liked it (background not right) "but" it's of a beautiful lady taken from the San Francisco bay!
