At random: "I saw the submariners, the way they stood aloof and silent, watching their pigboat with loving eyes. They are alone in the Navy. I admired the PT boys. And I often wondered how the aviators had the courage to go out day after day and I forgave their boasting. But the submariners! In the entire fleet they stand apart!” -- James Michener

Well, I think one of the best movie lines, all be it, off the cuff, is from "Twister"...right after one hits "Wakita" and Jo's Aunt Meg, after being rescued from her house, is fighting with everyone saying she's OK, but may have to spend the night in the hospital...and she says that she is going to drive herself and Rabbit announces, "Sweetie, your car is around the corner in a tree"...

Let's see how many of you can remember some really good movie lines.

From "Operation Petticoat"  After the Tiger Shark had been blasted to the bottom during the Japanese raid on Cavite, pumped out and raised (in horrible shape) the base C.O. visits the pier with the skipper (Cary Grant) to evaluate his request in wanting "to get underway".. To prove his point the C.O. asks the Chief working with his men on the after deck several questions, the last of which was "Chief can the boat submerge?" - the Chief's response, "Like a rock Sir!!"  (always loved that line)...

I'm paraphrasing here...

I think that is what Jon Krup said when I jumped in his lap. Ric and Don both turned around and said, "What?"

I never said that. You didn't jump into MY lap.
First, I would have remembered it.
Second, I would have enjoyed it.

No, you lucky devil, you didn't jump into my lap!

Sheesh... no Clint Eastwood lines... not a one.  Whatta bunch o' Nancys!

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" ?
Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

You gonna pull those pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Go ahead, make my day!
