At random: A submarine, the TURTLE, was employed by the American revolutionary army to attack the British. It was built by David Bushnell at Saybrook, Connecticut, just a few miles from the present site of Electric Boat Division of the General Dynamics Corporation, and the U.S. Naval Submarine Base.

You may already know of this... but in my travels on the web I've ran across sites that were on "Hometown" which has closed down. I was reading some of the complaints from people that have lost their data and came across the following.

I have been able to find the data from some of the sites that were on Hometown.
It's good if you know the original address for the site you are looking for. You just enter it in the "Wayback Machine", (cross your fingers) and the site might be found.

Take Care,
Steve

Thanks for the comment Steve.

Yup. I've used the Wayback Machine a few times. Sometimes it comes
through for me and sometimes not.

This internet is great but everything on it is just an electronic burp
away from the bit bucket.

Again.. thanks.

Sid
