So what is your point? That was a forgone conclusion. That is one reason why democracy simply won't work in the middle east. They need a strong tyrant as leader to keep all the ethnic hatred in check.
However, that being said, I sure hope we don't decide that we have a stake in thier internal affairs and send in our Marines to help them count thier votes. It seems that every President since Reagan has wanted to have a war that he can take ownership of.

EXSQUEEZE me... every president since Regan has wanted a war to claim his own.............. May I remind you of president #42 the man between the Bush's who's claim to military action fame was "wag the dog" AFTER the USS Cole attack and the bombing of the World Trade Center Towers. Nuff said on that one on my end

Steamboat I am just busting your chops, I am NOT trying to start a political issue or fight on this bbs. Ronald Reagan was a great president and I am sure that every president in his own mind since then has been a re-encarnate of him but that just isn't the case.

Pretty clumsy effort, from what I have heard.

Millions of ballots to count by hand, yet they announce a landslide victory for the incumbent/hardliners before the polls even closed.

Morons! You have to make it look real, and reasonably close.

Next time, send some of the elections officials to Chicago, learn how the pros do it!
