At random: USS SKATE and USS SEADRAGON, after affecting a historic rendezvous under the ice, surfaced together at the North Pole through an opening in the ice on August 1962. What really happened: We didn't surface together, Skate surfaced first. Then we (Seadragon) fired yellow flares forward and aft so Skate could tell us how we were lined up. Remember, under-ice was primitive in these days. Skate called back down rapidly that one flare surfaced on her starboard side and the other to port. She requested we reposition before vertical surfacing. We did. - Coyote (Owen Carlson) |

When you get your winningsI've got this certain secret beach front property that would be a great investment. Not many people know of it or go there now so we need to keep a lid on its location.

Except before they would release my money, they wanted $5,000 to cover the taxes. Had to be a scam. A real government lottery will just withhold your taxes once they verify your tax id number..

Did you pull liberty in some African port and raise so much hell that they're trying to get even with you? Edited by RCK 2009-06-19 7:09 AM

RCK - 2009-06-19 5:08 AM Donald, how is it that you're so lucky and get all the attention from far away lands. Did you pull liberty in some African port and raise so much hell that they're trying to get even with you? If I knew the answer to that question, I wouldn't have to flush my Spam filters 3 times a day. Closest I ever got to Africa is Thailand, but I did visit a few Caribbean Islands during off-crews while I was stationed in Charleston. Maybe some of the female tour-guides whose services I declined are still mad at me......
