Thomas J. McCartin passed away June 18, 2009. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia, children Tom (Pat), Brian (Jackie), Mary (Tony) Barrera, Chris (Agnes), Tim (Salli), Ann (Bob) Bowers, and Nancy, sisters Dorothy White and Jean Glynn, and 13 grandchildren. Tom was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Submarine Service. A proud Irishman, New York City native and graduate of Hofstra University, Tom served as a NYPD officer and then worked in the electronics industry for over 20 years. He began his aviation career with Frontier Airlines in 1971 as V.P. of Materiels, until he retired in 1984. Tom then consulted in the aviation industry until just a few years ago. Rosary, Tuesday, June 23, 7PM and Funeral Mass, Wednesday, June 24, 11:30 AM, both to be held at St. James Catholic Church, 1314 Newport St., Denver. Burial and Naval Military honors will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James School Grounds Renovation Project.

Irving Koenig, 89, passed away June 19, 2009, in his home in Virginia Beach, VA. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Koenig. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, submarine duty, Pacific Fleet. Irving was a member of Kehillat Bet Hamidrash Synagogue (KBH). He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Annie Koenig; his son, Robert Koenig and his wife LeeEllen of Greensboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Aaron and Abbey; and several nieces and nephews. Irving was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Ruth Daniels. A graveside service will be held at noon in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Cantor David Proser officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.

Richard C. "Dick" O'Neill, 77, passed away in his home in Wimberley on June 18, 2009. Born on July 19, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was a resident of Wimberley since 1998. Dick was a Korean War veteran, serving in the US Navy as a submariner. He was a graduate of Utah State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. His professional career spanned positions as founder and President of American Energy Company in Odessa, Texas; President of Trend Construction in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Vice President of Construction at Ford, Bacon and Davis in Dallas; Vice President of Construction at EA Engineering in Dallas and environmental engineering management positions with Roy F. Weston and Foster Wheeler in Houston.Dick's personal pursuits included a passion for golf and skiing. He proudly represented the United States as a member of the U.S. Olympic Ski Team in 1948 in St. Moritz, Switzerland.Dick is survived by his wife, Gwen O'Neill; daughters Carolyn Miller of Houston, Kerry Pendergrass of Lubbock, Erin O'Neill of Irving and Seana McQuitty of Amarillo; grandchildren: Ethan Miller, Hannah Miller, Sean Miller, Jordan O'Neill, Michele O'Neill, Carl Pendergrass, Ryan Nash and Kaydan Stidham; several great-grandchildren; sister Kate, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Cooksey, sister Robin, son Kevin and his faithful canine companion of 16 years, Amber.The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Scooter Store for its compassionate gift of mobility and to CTMC Hospice.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos.

SELTZER, Norman L., 76, of Delafield. Entered Eternal Life on June 14, 2009. He was born November 3, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, to parents Eugene and Dorothy Seltzer. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Shirley (nee Jentz), of 57 years, son Steven, and daughter Christine (Jim) Wollerman. Proud and loving grandfather of Heather (Tom) Russell, Eric and Heidi (fiance Erik Salm) Wollerman. Brother of Marion Cleary and Sharon Flowers. Brother-in-law of Janet Vincent and Pearl (Jack) Whalen. Further survived by dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Norm was employed in the Steel Service Center industry during his working years as a salesman and company officer of Triple "S" Steel Corp., in Brookfield and Chicago. For the last 20 years, he owned and operated North Central Steel Corp., in Waukesha, WI. Norm attended UWM and Marquette University and joined the U.S. Navy Reserve Submarine Division 9-227 in 1950 and was discharged in 1957. He also was a member of the West Allis Masonic Lodge #291, Wisconsin Consistory, Tripoli Shrine and the Milwaukee Athletic Club. He enjoyed the outdoor sports of hunting, fishing, biking and travels outside of the country and passed these loves onto his children and grandchildren. Private family services were previously held with burial at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hawks Inn Historical Society (P.O.
