Where's the love for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who have won 5 World Series (1900, 1925, 1960, 1971, and 1979)? Admittedly, it's been a while, but if credit's gonna be taken for the Steelers in 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979, then let's be fair.
Gotta love the sports in the Steel City, and that's from a life-long Raiders Fan!
dammit, beat me to it!

It started with the Stillers and Buccos in 1979.. then the Boys added to it in 1990-91, 1991-92, and 2008-2009.
Loved going to the World Series games.. the first was in September 1971, the first night world series game (center field, upper deck) at Three Rivers Stadium (for those of you in the know, the night of the infamous Rhubarb Ball - kudos to the Gunner for that), then a Series game in 1979.
But with Hossa jumping ship and going to Detroit after the 2008 season (seeing the Red Wings win the Cup in Pittsburgh and skating around with it) and losing, yet again, in 2009, seeing his old team skate around with the Cup in Detroit.. a poetic sense of justice...
