Got a call from Gil Raynor who's in town for a sub reunion.  Going to meet with him around 0600 tomorrow at the Silverdale Hotel prior to taking a 0620 shuttle from there to the airport.  Then a 5 hour flight to Baltimore, returning Sunday (48 hours later) with another 5 hour flight - tough on the boney old butt! (no comment Ralphy!)... LOL

This is yet another son's marriage (2nd) combining 4 daughters (2 & 2) in the 20 -23 year old range - he is a BRAVE man!  Just meet the bride to be at #1 son's 2nd marriage in San Francisco last May... Add to all of this the solo round trip drive to San Diego (for our USSVI Convention) in September (2,600 mile round trip) and I think I'll have had enough for the year!  BTW: That drive is basically from the Canadian border to the Mexican border on your map (I-5 for about 1,100 miles of it each way)...

All you truckers like Ralph and Greg will wish me good luck I do hope!

Drive 1426 miles each way to visit my Mom in Vermont twice a year. The Ridgeline takes it in stride, and is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever ridden in. That includes those air adjustable, super luxury seats in George's Kenworth.

Man, talk about a turn around!  Left SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma) airport around 10:30 Friday morning for Baltimore, left Baltimore for the return leg 47 hours later!  That round trip in less than 2 days is not the way to treat this old man!  I feel like my eye lids are still on the east coast and someone drug me out of a tree like an owl at high noon!  Start the newest job (Navy still) tomorrow and I've got the proof of the red eye flights built in! LOL

That is a very handsome couple...and a neat wedding cake...looks like one that the "Ace of Cakes" down there in Baltimore would design.
