Yes there are a lot of pictures of Gato Balao and Tench class which all are undersame title They seem to consider all three class basically a Gato class Just as many people do not consider Tench a seperate class Or that do not think the Stretch hull 637s are different or that the 688 improved is the same as the 688 class

Yes the 40mm was on the cigarette deck the 5" on the after deck and about this time in her life (from what I can read) they had several 50 cals forward as well as the 30 cals on the railing.
