At random: "Like the destroyer, the submarine has created its own type of officer and man with language and traditions apart from the rest of the service, and yet at the heart unchangingly of the Serviceā€ -- Rudyard Kipling, The Fringes of the Fleet, 1915

Subject: Good Fishing this morning

Walked out onto the fishing pier this morning and besides being packed with fisher folk it seems the Kings are finally starting to hit. I saw a 20 pounder the other morning but didn't have my camera. Next day someone had caught and already left with a 35 pounder. This morning these two were laying on the cleaning tables. The first one is about 20 pounds, looks the same the one as I saw the other morning and about 28 to 30 inches long. Second one was smaller probably about 15 pounds.
