James Wesley Lee House, 83, of Dayton, passed away July 27, 2009 in Carson City, Nevada. James was born November 9, 1925 to Jesse Lee House and Alice Melindia Fenison, in Johnsville, Arkansas. He served his country in the Navy from 1943 to 1954. He served for four years during World War II in the South Pacific. He later served on a submarine for two years during the Korean conflict. James enjoyed fishing and gardening. He will always be remembered for being willing to lend a helping hand. James was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Alice House, and sisters, Lois Garrison of Reno, Nevada and Ruth Glenn of Coos Bay, Oregon. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jackie; his sons, Steve and wife Sharon of Reno, NV and Jim and wife Diana of Dayton, NV; grandchildren, Don, Steve, Jeff, Amanda, Angela and Shane and seven great-grandchildren, as well as his favorite pet, "Foxy". He is also survived by brothers, Ken House of Cloverdale, CA and Jesse House of Santa Rosa, CA and his sister Lin Cadd of Santa Rosa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at FITZHENRY'S FUNERAL HOME in Carson City, Nevada. Burial will follow at Dayton Cemetery
